Lower Years' Nativities remind us of the real meaning of Christmas

From Wednesday 6 to Thursday 14 December, boys and girls in the Lower Years at St George’s Junior School, Weybridge took part in their wonderfully festive Christmas Nativities.

Throughout the week, parents of children in the Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 gathered in the School Hall to watch the story of the birth of Jesus Christ told through storytelling, music and dance.

There were amusing camel costumes, sheep outfits, kings, shepherds, angels, eskimos, Hawaiian natives and lots of smiles on offer as the children had a thoroughly enjoyable time performing in front of their parents.

The colourful costumes, beautifully decorated sets and hearty cheers and laughter from parents were a testament to the efforts of the Lower Years’ staff, who have worked hard over the last few months to deliver what was a wonderful set of Nativity performances across all age groups, getting everyone in the mood for Christmas.
