New Beginnings Mass celebrated by Upper Years pupils at the Junior School

Pupils in Years 3-6 at St George's Junior School celebrated a New Beginnings Mass in the Chapel on Tuesday 12 September to welcome in the new term.

The Mass was celebrated by Fr Martin Ashcroft, College Chaplain, whilst the boys and girls themselves took part in the First Reading, the Bidding Prayers and the Offertory procession.

It was a wonderful start to the new term and all of the children present were in fine voice as they finished the Mass by singing the high energy hymn, 'You shall go out with joy'.
