Students generously donate to those in need at Christmas

Earlier this term, St George's College launched its' Salvation Army Christmas Appeal 2017.

St George's works very closely with the Salvation Army each year to try and help those in need and 2017 was no different, with students going above and beyond to donate toys, food and other goods to those less fortunate than themselves.

First Year students were tasked with donating toys and fun games, Second to Fifth Year students were asked to bring in food to fill some Christmas Hampers that will be given to the single and elderly housebound living in Addlestone and Chertsey, whilst the Sixth Form generously donated food items to the Foodbank.

It is hoped that all of these goods will help to provide those less fortunate than ourselves a happy and healthy Christmas.
