Tiny dancers become stars for the day at Early Years Dance Showcase

Nursery and Reception children at St George’s Junior School became stars for the day on Friday 9 June as they performed in the Early Years Dance Showcase.

There were four groups of children who danced their socks off in Reception, and over ten different groups of boys and girls in Nursery who dressed up and performed choreographed dance routines to a number of well known pop songs and much loved musical tunes. The children performed magnificently well with such enthusiasm, heart and with a smile on their faces.

The dance routines gave the children a chance to showcase what they have been learning in their weekly dance classes throughout the Summer Term. Proud parents were amazed at what they saw and gave the boys and girls several standing ovations and cheers of delight.
