Although we are pleased that the government has recognised our 100% 5 A*-C grades in the National Examination Results League Tables published this week, parents should be aware that there is not proper recognition as yet for Modern Languages IGCSE. Parents may thus read in some newspapers the erroneous figure of 27% of our students gaining A*-C grades in the Ebacc (a qualification which includes the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, two Sciences, one modern foreign language and either History or Geography); whereas the actual figure is in fact 84%.
