Fourth Year GCSE students have been celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Dragon today in their Food Technology lessons by being given the opportunity to research the Chinese New Year and to select a Chinese dish to cook, dishes included stir-fry chicken noodles, egg fried rice, prawn toasts, sweet and sour pork and spring rolls.

Mrs Jane Weaver, Head of Food Technology said “The students enjoy cooking foods from different countries and this celebration provides them with an ideal opportunity to learn more about the cuisine and culture of another country”.
