Drama is a popular subject on the curriculum and the students enjoy a wide variety of activities while developing life skills. Each year there is the opportunity to perform. Nursery to Year Two take part in Nativities while Years Three and Four take part in musical plays. Year Five have the opportunity to take part in a workshop play and finally in Year Six they do a review.
Clubs are available from Years Two to Year Six they are all inclusive.
In the summer term there is a visit from a Story Teller and the children take part in a workshop. These sessions are closely linked to the Curriculum.
Lamda exams are introduced in Year Six and this year there are 50 children taking part. They have the opportunity to show their rehearsed scenes to an audience before they take their exams.
We all have a lot of fun and the benefits are clearly evident in the children’s personal development.
