The St George's College Society's objective is to interest itself in the progress and development of the College and the Junior School, including the encouragement of social, sporting, academic and other activities.

The Society fosters the involvement of parents in this progress in various ways, seeking to promote fellowship and understanding. First and Third Year Parents' Introduction Evenings in the student's first few days are sponsored by the Society and held in conjunction with the Headmaster and Staff of the College. Later in the Autumn Term, informal First and Third Year Parent Social Evenings are held at the Old Georgians' Clubhouse. The Society hosts a similar evening for Junior School Nursery and Reception parents in the Junior School Drama Hall. Drop-In Coffee Mornings, open to all parents, are held on the first morning of every term and the first Wednesday morning after half term.

Other social and fundraising events planned during the year include a Craft Fair, a Candlelight Supper, a Quiz Night, a Spring Fete and a Summer Ball. These are attended by cross sections of the Georgian community and all are invited to participate.
