The majority of our Nursery children automatically transfer into Reception. External candidates seeking admission at Reception are invited in for a short informal assessment with the Head of Lower Years. This involves an assessment of their vocabulary, phonic and number knowledge as well as their personal and social development. The assessment lasts approximately half an hour. Once a child has been offered a place they will come in for an induction afternoon in the summer term.
