Students wishing to enter the Sixth Form at age 16 must arrange a formal visit and preliminary interview with the Head of Sixth Form. Scholarship examinations are held in the first week of November and this is followed by a formal interview with Senior Staff. Students not wishing to apply for scholarships are given a shorter admission interview. Once completion of the registration form and payment of the necessary deposit is made, references from the applicant's current educational establishment will be requested as part of the admissions procedure. Students will be asked for certain GCSE grades for entry. All parents accepting places are required to pay a £500 non-refundable deposit.

Candidates will be provisionally offered a place dependent upon GCSE results. This will be confirmed once the results have been officially received in August.
