Young Enterprise, as its name suggests, attracts enterprising and entrepreneurial individuals from the Sixth Form with a keen business sense. The students form a company, complete with a Chairman, Accountant and all the other roles you may have heard about in the Apprentice. Recent companies have fared very successfully, reaching the Surrey and South of England finals. Healthy profit margins have been made by marketing a variety of products from Travel Books to a Valentine's Day rose and chocolate service. It is not limited to Business Studies and Economics students, although the experience will complement their course very well. The only requirement is the right business acumen and the commitment that is essential for any successful business.
